Talented local landscape artist Barbara Thomas returns to lead the first of two series of art classes. Beginners to experienced artists age 15+ will learn techniques to capture the natural beauty of the garden. Using watercolor gouache, you will learn how to ‘lay in’ the garden painting, to mix colors, render the flora of the garden, capture light and shadow, atmosphere, and distance as well as tips for painting textures, shapes of flowers and trees. Supply list provided upon prepaid registration.
