February 2, 2016: Peconic Land Trust Receives Donation of .7 acres of Natural Lands from D'Urso Family in Amagansett.

December 2015: Great News: Conservation Easement Tax Incentive Finally Made Permanent! Also, Governor Cuomo signs enabling legislation to extend Community Preservation Fund to 2050. Public referendum possible in fall of 2016.

September 9, 2015: Peconic Land Trust and Town of Southold Partner on Protection of 20.9 Acres of Farmland, Woodlands and Wetlands in Orient. Community Fundraising Underway.

May 29, 2015: Peconic Land Trust Launches Agricultural Capital Equipment Program, funded through a grant from the LI Regional Economic Development Council.

May 21, 2015: Peconic Land Trust Receives Historic Preservation Easement on Sleight House in Stony Brook from Elizabeth and Brian Merrick.
