Sagaponack Land Fund
The Peconic Land Trust, with the endorsement of the Village of Sagaponack Trustees, has created the Sagaponack Land Fund as an opportunity for you to protect the remaining working farms, natural lands, wetlands and historical sites that define the Village.
Given the extraordinary land values on the South Fork, private funds are often necessary to supplement public funds in order to purchase land and conservation easements from willing sellers. Such public/private partnerships are increasingly essential to land protection.
To this end, the Trust will work with Sagaponack landowners and residents, in collaboration with public partners at all levels of government, to conserve Sagaponack. Your donations will enable the Trust to match public funds to make this conservation effort possible.
