Bring the children to the beach for a hands on marine discovery in Shinnecock Bay, led by educators from NYS DEC. We’ll pull in a seine net to look for underwater animals. In addition to native species, you may also find exotic juvenile tropical fish carried north by the Gulf Stream. Protective footwear recommended that may get wet. A portable toilet is onsite.
Free! All ages welcome! Space is limited, reservations required. Town beach parking permit available for the duration of the program. Rain cancels.
