Join naturalist Mike Bottini for a leisurely paddle on Big Fresh Pond as we look for signs of spring, from ospreys and migrating songbirds, to turtles and evidence of returning river otters. Big Fresh Pond is part of the Town of Southampton’s Emma Elliston Memorial Park and features over 100 acres of preserved woodlands. Donated to the Town by the Elliston family, the park is a link in the Paumanok Path.
$10/person* Space is limited, reservations required. Bring your own kayak or SUP and personal flotation device. Kayak and SUP rentals are available for additional fee. At check in prior to launch all attendees will be required to sign a liability release. Rain cancels.
