Ready, Set, Grow! Behind the Scenes at The Ag Center

We are excited to announce the opening of our brand new farm stand at the Agricultural Center at Charnew's Farm in Southold! This project was made possible thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our incredible donors. Your support has helped us turn this vision into reality, and we can’t wait to welcome the community to enjoy the fruits (and vegetables!) of our local farmers. Through our Farms for the Future Initiative, we aim to protect farmland while also supporting the farmers who work the land. These new and returning farmers are cultivating a variety of products, including vegetables, flowers, honey from bees, oysters, snails, and cattle. See the full list of who is farming in our program this year below.
The new stand will feature fresh produce and handcrafted goods from our Farms for the Future participants. These farmers will now have a dedicated space to share their crops and products with the public. Stop by, support local agriculture, and meet the faces behind the food! You can find us at 3005 Youngs Ave in Southold.
