March 13, 2026
8820 Alvahs Lane & 7040 Oregon Road Cutchogue

The Peconic Land Trust is offering to sell 16.9 acres to qualified farmers. The land consists of 14.68 acres of protected farmland and a 2.22-acre development area. The farmland was previously protected through the purchase of development rights by Southold Town. In order to ensure that this property will forever be accessible and affordable to farmers who grow food, it will be sold subject to an additional, enhanced easement held by the Trust. The enhanced easement will include affordable farming covenants, resale restrictions, and a footprint limiting restriction in the development area.
Responses to the RFPs are due on March 25, 2026
