The Annual Fund
Each year, donations raised through the Annual Fund enable the Peconic Land Trust to conserve Long Island’s working farms, natural lands, and heritage. Contributions to the Annual Fund, and other fundraising activities, have allowed the Peconic Land Trust to:
- conserve over 8,600 acres;
- complete numerous restoration and trails projects;
- offer a variety of educational and recreational programs to inform the public about the need for land conservation and to get people onto the land; and
- work with legislators to enact laws that help landowners safeguard these precious resources.
