Conserving Long Islands Working Farms and Natural Lands

Conservation Projects

Since 1983, the Trust has completed approximately 400 projects throughout Long Island. Over 10,000 acres have been protected through the Trust's work with landowners and municipalities.

If you are interested in visiting a Preserve, please contact Pam Greene, Vice President of Stewardship, for access permission and directions.

Case studies can also be found in the archives of both the Peconic Land Trust Newsletter as well as the eNewsletter.
