As Seen in Times Square: Give2Land campaign

The Peconic Land Trust has joined a group of metro-NY area land trusts to sponsor a public service announcement (PSA) on land conservation and the work of land trusts. The 15-second PSA will run through December 31, 2010, on the CBS big screen on the north side of 42nd Street, between 7th & 8th Avenue.

Joining the Peconic Land Trust in this campaign are: Land Trust Alliance, Open Space Initiative, Scenic Hudson, New Jersey Conservation Foundation, Dutchess Land Conservancy, and the Westchester Land Trust.

The PSA will run once an hour, for a minimum of 18 hours a day - and will be seen by millions of visitors to Times Square over the holidays. The campaign illustrates the gift the land gives to all of us: Food, Nature, Health, and Water, and asks the viewer to join the land trust community in support of land conservation.
