Seeding Workshop at the Farm
Quail Hill Farm, Deep Lane, Amagansett

10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Its time to start the garden!

Please join us as we roll up our sleeves and work side by side with Scott Chaskey, who has farmed at Quail Hill for 20 years, to plant a variety of seeds, including tomato, pepper, lettuce, broccoli and herbs, in the seed trays destined for the greenhouse.

While at the farm, learn about the importance of making and using compost from home and yard scraps to improve your home garden, as well as how to create a fertile soil mix.

All participants are invited to return on May 8 to transplant the seedlings into the fields of Quail Hill Farm.

Free!

Please park on Deep Lane, reached via Town Lane or Side Hill Lane, and meet Scott at the farm shop.
