We offer many interesting and exciting ways to contribute in the field as well as in the office!

Connections Events: Work with Trust staff to greet and register attendees at the events -- workshops, hikes, farm visits, and more -- and stick around to enjoy the program.
Stewardship: Our stewardship needs are diverse -- from planting beach grass, repairing fence lines, cleaning up trails and preserves, to being the Trust's eyes and ears in the field.
Fundraising/Office support: The Trust is always reaching out to supporters and prospects. Come work with us either in Southampton or Cutchogue and help with mailings, research and other tasks that really make a difference.
Committees: The Trust has a number of Board-led committees that assist us in our operations, including Outreach, Public Policy, Stewardship, Philanthropy, and more. If you have expertise that you would like to share, we'd love to hear from you.
Bridge Gardens: Beginning April 1, 2012, and continuing into the fall, the Trust will offer public visits and activities at Bridge Gardens. We  have openings for docents, greeters, and light gardening.

If you are interested in any of these activities -- have other ideas -- or just want to find out more, please contact Kathy Kennedy at 631.283.3195 or kkennedy@peconiclandtrust.org.  Minors are welcome as volunteers, with parental approval, and our youngest helpers will need to be accompanied by an adult.

We look forward to working with you to conserve Long Island's Working Farms, Natural Lands and Heritage!!!
